GriefShare Grief and Loss Support Groups offer valuable guidance and tips, leading to relief, comfort, and peace of mind. The groups are safe, welcoming places where people understand the difficult process of grief.

Over the 13-weeks group, members discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief the focus is on learning helpful ways of coping in the unpredictability. At the same time members gain solid support each step of the way.

GriefShare provides insight into managing emotions, gaining clarity and finding answers that lead to lasting hope.

These courses have run for 25 years. They consist of a small number of members and a facilitator. Members can join at any time and return again when and if they need to take a break. The materials have been developed by respected experts on grief-related topics, who share insights and experiences of loss through video presentations. Guided discussion of the presentation helps bring comfort and normalises the grief experience, in a supportive environment.

Topics covered include: Loneliness, Fear, Anger, Regrets, Relationships, Hope, and more.

We offer this course free of cost, but we ask participants to consider sponsoring a subsequent course participant if they have been helped by the group.
